Review

Pirate tales of one of the great guitar players of all time, and a ringside seat to the circus that was/is the Rolling Stones. Keith Richards writes technically and passionately about his love and absolute dedication to music and the blues; musicians will appreciate the depth of his descriptions. His views/exploits around addiction, recovery, bedding women, and creativity are often contrarian. But the man stands vindicated...an elder statesman of rock and roll looking back over a long and storied career. I have such affection for working-class British wit and turn of phrase. Keith Richards is in his element there, and that's probably what I most enjoyed about reading his memoir.
