Yancey takes the Victorian obsession with medical oddities to a new level in The Monstrumologist. It is not overtly scary, but definitely gory. It is not over-the-top in sickening detail, but there is definitely a fair share of blood and guts... but only about as much as you would expect from headless cannibal monsters which have eyes and mouths on their chests!
