Billy is a boy with a lot of experience dealing with depression. Not his own depression, but that of his father , a troubled artist who is slowly recovering from a breakdown and on the edge of another. Encouraged to find something productive to do by his parents, Billy volunteers at Listeners, a suicide hotline. Through the Listeners he meets Jenney, just a voice on the other end of the phone line. Then Jenney begins to call more frequently and she and Billy grow closer. But Jenney is at the end of her rope...Is it too late to be saved?
