When a biological bomb goes off in an air duct of a shopping mall, everyone inside is quarantined for an indefinite period. The book focuses on Shay, Marco, Lexi, and Ryan, all teens who have different perspectives of the situation. People start getting sick, food runs out and violence erupts. With no timeline on when they could be released from the mall, the teens must struggle to provide for themselves and their families in an increasingly dangerous situation.
