Review

I wasn’t expecting to be wowed by this graphic novel version of one of my favorite Austen novels. I thought the length and format wouldn’t capture the wry humor of the full length novel. I was pleasantly surprised. The graphic novel captures almost all of the famous scenes and quotes from the book.  This makes the story very accessible for those who don't want to read the novel but are still interested in the story or curious about Austen’s observations about life in Regency England.  My only quibble? Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bingley are drawn very similarly. The only difference is a slightly different coloration of  their hair which I found kind of confusing. It captures the full story in a graphic format.
