Evie wants nothing more than to go to university and study to become a doctor. She has always had unusual powers of healing and she would like to get out of her tiny village and help more people. After winning a scholarship from the king, Evie journeys to the capital city, but mysterious events along the way show Evie a life she has never imagined, full of love, magic, and power. Will Evie give up her dream to chase after a new life?
