Ever is 15 years old and weighs 302 pounds. She is pitied by schoolmates and family and has resisted all attempts at intervention by anyone. And to top it off...there is Skinny. Skinny is Ever's bitter and cruel inner voice. Constantly putting her down, Skinny makes sure that Ever doesn't have to self-esteem to change or try out for the school musical. Ever's dream will never come true because a "Fat" girl could never be in a musical...or so skinny tells her. But everything changes when Ever decides to get a Gastric Bypass Surgery. Ever learns a few things about herself, friendship and even love on the road to recovery.
