Review

Sovay is an English gentleman's headstrong daughter in the late 18th century. To prove that her fiance has been untrue, Sovay dresses as a man and holds up his coach and steals proof. She also steals warrants for her father's arrest - apparently he is accused of treason against the king! Sovay sets off for London to clear her father's name but in the meantime is swept up in even more political intrigue. Full of adventure, romance, and politics, this historical novel really helps explain the fervor of revolution that swept Europe and America during this time. Sovay is a bold and sparkling heroine and will engage any reader.
