Review
On the surface, the subject matter of this film would appear to be rather depressing: a guarded dwarf loses his best friend, inherits an old train depot in rural New Jersey and tries his best to live in solitude. Almost immediately, he is assailed by a wonderful cast of characters, each with their own issues, and reluctantly begins to build relationships. The script and direction allow the story to slowly unfold while you are increasingly drawn into their world.
