Imaginal Disk is the second studio album by the American musical duo Magdalena Bay, which consists of Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin. It is a concept album centered on the fictional character Ture. After a compact disc-shaped object, the titular Imaginal Disk, is implanted into her forehead in order to create her ideal self, her body rejects it and she relearns the meaning of being human. Reoccurring lyrical themes include self-exploration and consciousness. Musically it is a synth-pop, dance-pop, and electronic rock album.
Undercurrent is the sixth studio release by American reggae-rock singer Matisyahu. The album is a departure from his previous work in that it utilizes great amounts of jamming. For Undercurrent he spent nearly two years assembling the "greatest musicians [he] could find" who could play this kind of music. During this time they would improvise and jam on stage (while being recorded) during tours. These jams would then be developed into "somewhat loose forms" before, lastly, recording the vocals. In this way, Undercurrent could be considered a jazz-like record, since it comes from, "the same modus of musical exploration, improvisation, and conversation."
Pink is back with her highly anticipated ninth studio album, which includes the upbeat new single "Never Gonna Not Dance Again."

It is composed of covers of traditional pop standards, all originally written between the 1920s and the 1960s and considered to be part of the Great American Songbook. It was also designed as a loose concept album about the passage of time, with each of the first 12 songs corresponding to a month in the Gregorian calendar.
Recorded entirely on acoustic instruments, and performed by Simon, this album showcases Simon's craft at its finest and most captivating, simply with his voice and guitar. Intended to be listened to as one continuous piece, the 33-minute, seven-movement composition transcends the concept of the "album." A stunning, intricately layered work, it's a record which establishes an engaging and meditative, hymnal soundscape, with Simon's lyrics providing the gravitational center for constellations of sound woven from guitar strings and other acoustic instrumentation, including choral elements. True to the origin of psalms as hymns meant to be sung rather than spoken. This album reaches back to the very genesis of folk music, King David's Psalms. The result is a quietly moving musical experience which uncovers a wealth of subtle details with every repeated listen. A step apart from anything Paul Simon has released before.
Remember Us to Life is the seventh studio album by singer-songwriter Regina Spektor, featuring the lead single, "Bleeding Heart." The Secret of Life: Partners, Volume Two is the 37th studio album by American singer Barbra Streisand. It consists of duets with other singers and is a companion to her 2014 album Partners. Streisand began recording vocals for her new album shortly after completing the audiobook narration for her memoir My Name Is Barbra, a project that may have influenced the introspective tone of some tracks. Among the album's many notable collaborations is a duet with Bob Dylan, who had first invited Streisand to work together decades prior, finally bringing the long-awaited pairing into the studio.
