Denver Public Library’s Educator Card is available to both formal and informal educators in Denver, including (but not limited to):
- public and private school teachers
- homeschool teachers
- preschool teachers
- daycare providers
- adult education providers.
The card allows educators to keep items they check out for professional use off of their personal cards. With an Educator Card, educators have access to:
- Extended loan periods of up to 6 weeks
- Automatic renewal up to 3 times at these extended loan periods (if there are no holds on the title)
- 100 item checkout limit (including up to 50 combined media items)
- 50 item hold limit
- All of DPL’s digital resources Please note that Educator Card accounts are not eligible for ILL and Prospector. Educators may sign up for a card at any DPL location.
