Program Description

Event Details

Like the play Confederates, Henry Louis Gates, Jr., traces the experience of Black Americans through time in his book, although Gates focuses on how writers have defined themselves as resistance to racism. Join DPL and Curious Theatre to discuss common themes between the play and the book. Sign up: www.curioustheatre.org/bookclub/

We’ll meet after the play on November 17. Register and find details here.

We will meet after the show in Mamie's, the theatre's backstage space.

Free on-street parking along Acoma is available. The theatre's wheelchair entrance is near the handicap accessible parking in the lot adjacent to the theatre. Because this door is not staffed at all times, please mention in the sign-up form linked above if you'll be using the wheelchair entrance so theatre staff may greet you.
