Library databases are online collections of information, organized for research. Databases contain articles, eBooks, images, maps, primary sources and more. Start your research with these general databases, available from any Denver Public Library or from home with a Denver Public Library Card.

Database Search Strategies

Mango Languages Learn from over 70 languages, including Spanish, Arabic, Vietnamese, French, and Dari, in Mango’s all-in-one platform that adapts to your learning through vocabulary, grammar, and more. Record your speech and compare it with native audio.

English lessons are available for speakers of Spanish, Arabic, French, Somali, Vietnamese, and more.

Mango also offers American Sign Language (ASL) via ASL Inside.

Tutor.com Virtual on-demand tutoring, homework help, and test preparation for students and adult learners. Support for job seekers including resume help.

Connect with a qualified English or Spanish-speaking tutor in a safe and secure online classroom from 3pm - 10pm, 7 days a week (except New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas).

An additional account with an email address is needed for services beyond a live tutoring session, and for the talk function in a tutoring session. If a child under age 13 creates an additional account, they will be restricted to a text-only tutoring session.
