Circulating Technology Update: Due to ongoing budget uncertainties, we’ve made the difficult decision to end the circulation of technology at Denver Public Library.
As of July 30, customers will no longer be able to check out Chromebooks, Chromebooks with integrated wi-fi, and hotspots to take home.
Technology access remains accessible through free wi-fi, in-library Chromebooks and in-library desktop computers available at all Denver Library locations.
Does the library carry materials that can help me with job searching?

Can I use DPL computers in my job search?
All DPL locations have public computers with internet access and select software (including Microsoft Word). For information on computer resources at a specific location, please contact that location directly.

Are there classes for jobseekers at the library?
DPL provides classes on several topics, including technology. All upcoming classes can be viewed on our events calendar.
The Community Technology Center offers classes on Business & Employment topics. By selecting a specific class, you can see handouts, lesson plans, and other class materials.
For immigrants, refugees, and asylees, our Plaza team offers programs and other support to connect New Americans to a broad array of informational resources.
Can I use the library to prepare for employment tests or professional certifications?
DPL has both print and digital materials that allow jobseekers to prepare for many major occupational tests.
For print materials keyword search our catalog for a particular exam (e.g., firefighter exam), or browse all those categorized under our Study Guides subject.
For digital versions DPL offers access to Learning Express Library: Career Center and Udemy for online learning with classes to help prepare for certifications and employment test preparation.
