If you are selected to become a volunteer, you agree to meet all of the following requirements and expectations: Complete a Background Notification, Release and Authorization form. Attend ONE of the online mandatory trainings (multiple dates available). Volunteer during school hours weekdays 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Commit to providing storytimes on a regular basis. Read to preschoolers aged 3-5. Maintain a library account in good standing. Attend refresher training once every three years. Communicate with Read Aloud staff by reading and responding to emails. Add developmentally beneficial activities into storytime such as singing, sharing rhymes, and dancing along with books.
