Western Art Gallery - Level 5

Local photographer Roger Whitacre began shooting images of Denver in the 1970's. This exhibit contains images of buildings that either vanished from the landscape during the final decades of the twentieth century or, as in the case of Union Station, altered their appearance. Whitacre's black and white images document a vanished Denver.

Come to the Cherry Creek library, grab a paper skull, and decorate it for a chance to win a prize! Skulls will be available to pick up starting October 11, and staff will vote for a winner on November 5. Supplies are limited, so grab yours fast! Open to all ages.
