Meet Barbara Wells, an experienced puppy-raiser for Guide Dogs for the Blind, and the 5 month old puppy she is training. Byers Branch Library is proud to present Chicano Humanities & Arts Council (CHAC) Gallery on Saturday, June 21 as part of our CONNECTING VECINOS series. CHAC Gallery will give a brief history of Mexican metalsmithing and present a workshop about the basic techniques for making tin art. Each participant will make their own piece of tin art, whether by utilizing a traditional pattern or by creating an original design.
