The new fine art applications for iPad have really started to take hold with established artists – David Hockney recently opened a show in Paris of his iPhone artworks. He commented that it was perhaps the first time that an artist delivered all of his artwork to the exhibiting gallery via email. There’s no denying that this new medium has an immediacy and egalitarian sexiness – pick up your phone or computer pad and you’ve got all the materials you need to create. Artist Jimmy Sellars teaches this workshop on the fundamentals of digital drawing and painting.
