Legends of Martial arts

Bruce Lee Ultimate Trilogy

Having recently watched the "Grandmaster" in theaters, it really got my juices flowing for the martial arts genre. Here are a few must see from recent years.

The Bruce Lee Ultimate Trilogy has 3 of Bruce Lee's films "Big Boss," "Way of the Dragon" and "Game of Death." What can I say that hasn't already been said about Bruce. All I can say is, must see!

IP Man: The legendary grand master of Wing Chun and master to Bruce Lee, comes a very good movie about some misfortunes in IP Man's life and how one man stood up against a nation. Based on a true story.

Beginning May 11th, Icelandair will be offering direct flights from DIA to Iceland's capital, Reykjavík.  A paltry 8 hour flight will get you to this geothermal wonderland where 10% of the population believes in the existence of elves* and phone directories are organized by first names.

Ridiculous martial arts movies!

poster for the good, the bad, and the weird

I love martial arts films, but sometimes, I want to laugh too. These films have amazing action scenes and are funny/cheesy to boot!

Some of my favorite martial arts movies of late are remakes of American films, or Asian westerns. Here are a few of my favorites:

The Good, the Bad, and the Weird
Always wear a diving bell for protection in an gunfight!

Dynamite Warrior
A Thai Western with some amazing fight scenes and fireworks as the ultimate sidekick.
