Spring is coming! Add gardening tips, painting skills, music, and crafts into your life with Fresh City Life My Branch!

On Thursday, March 21, join the Butterfly Pavilion for a double session at the Bear Valley Branch--Butterfly Gardening at 2 p.m. and Busy Bees at 3 p.m. Learn what it takes to attract butterflies to your garden, and then hear all about the lives of honey bees, including a honey tasting, seeing a honeycomb, and feeling beeswax. Come for one or both sessions!

There are still a few spaces left in the Fresh City Life My Branch Beginning Acrylic Painting Class with My Art Workshop! The class is on Saturday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Schlessman Family Branch. Reserve your space today: 720-865-0000.

In this class, you'll learn the basics of acrylic canvas painting with step-by-step artist led instruction. No prior painting experience is necessary to create this blowing tree masterpiece. All supplies and instructions included!

Next time you're at the Central Library, plan on spending some extra time to make your way up to Level 7. The beautiful Vida Ellison Gallery is housing this exhibit of fine art created by staff for the 8th consecutive year.

In addition to highlighting the creativity, diversity and individuality of the Denver Public Library staff, the gallery offers spectacular views of downtown Denver. Not to be missed!
