Andrea Gibson was introduced to me in my college years. It was during one of those free events and when she recited her poetry, the room fell silent. So when I realized that she actually put out books of poetry, I was more than a little curious.

Critically acclaimed Colorado poet and rapper, Molina Speaks, brings his spirited voice to Other Places, Other Voices -- a community workshop exploring spoken word poetry focusing on discrimination and human rights.

In collaboration with the Mizel Museum, Fresh City Life is hosting Denver's most audacious spoken word artist -- Molina Speaks. One of his recent projects is Bronze Future: Letters for 2045 -- a spoken word video chapbook – a digital diary to the future.  This work is the first of its kind.
