Hello!
We’d like to introduce Social Distanzine, a small online publication of art, writing, and other creative works by the Denver community that reflects our lives in the time of COVID-19. We believe there is power in taking a moment to meditate on the weight of the times we find ourselves in, and that creative expression helps us stay connected to ourselves and to each other.
This inaugural issue is composed of works from our staff and it’s our hope it will inspire you to join us in making and creating, so we invite you to submit your work to Social Distanzine! Not quite sure what a Zine is? Here’s a quick primer.
We also want you to know that zines are for everyone! It's never too late to make art or find a creative outlet. All ages are welcome to submit work; as such, content should be appropriate for a wide audience. Thank you for reading, and we hope to see your submissions soon.
