Index of biographical information on people. Organized by time period; geographical location; and field of interest, employment, or accomplishment.

Fold3 Library Edition by Ancestry provides access to official military records with first-person content from the people who served, including bios, photos, letters and more. Contains more than 500 million searchable records from the Civil War onward, from archives such as the U.S. National Archives and U.K. National Archives. A resource for historians, genealogists, researchers, military enthusiasts and battle reenactors, and veterans and their families. An optional Fold3 account can be created to save records.
