Event Details

Come and join 10th Mountain Division Foundation Inc. at Hampden Library. Learn how WWII soldiers trained at Camp Hale and helped to create Colorado's ski resort industry.  There they learned to ski, climb cliffs and other skills for mountain warfare. After the war, several veterans returned and helped start Colorado’s Ski Industry, creating resorts and the 10th Mountain Division Huts, both still very popular today.  No registration required, space limited to 20.
