Event Details

The struggle to simultaneously live independently while needing someone else is explored in Cost of Living. To match the play, we’ll be reading the eye-opening memoir of the disability advocate behind the @sittingpretty account. Rebekah Taussig shares snapshots of her life with “a body that doesn’t work” for peeks that reveal the complex, ordinary, uncomfortable, and fulfilling aspects. Join DPL and Curious Theatre Company as we discuss common themes between Taussig’s Sitting Pretty and Cost of Living. We’ll meet after the play on March 24. Register and find details here or scan the QR code below

We will meet after the show in Mamie's, the theatre's backstage space.

Free on-street parking along Acoma is available. The theatre's wheelchair entrance is near the handicap accessible parking in the lot adjacent to the theatre. Because this door is not staffed at all times, please mention in the sign-up form linked above if you'll be using the wheelchair entrance so theatre staff may greet you.

To request a sign language interpreter or real time captioning via CART Services, please contact SignLanguageServices@denvergov.org or call 720-913-8487, with a minimum three (3) business day notice. To request other accommodations, please contact programs@denverlibrary.org.
