This month: Rock 'n Roll High School (1979)
Face it, school drools. And sometimes the only way to wade through its drudgery is escape. And what better way to escape it than the harshly melodic sounds of those loudmouth Ramones? Join us this Saturday as we follow Riff Randall, the self-proclaimed biggest Ramones fan at Vince Lombardi High, in her quest to thwart Principal Togar, the school's latest in a long line of principals hired to halt the student body's love for disruption, bold music and utter disregard for didacticism. Will their spirit finally be broken or will this latest regime fall to yet another changing of the guard? 'Cause bureaucrats change, but Rock 'n Roll, well, that's forever.
