Program Description

Event Details

In honor of Women’s History Month, we invite you to participate in a special Guided Autobiography (GAB) class dedicated to helping you unearth your own story in an encouraging, confidential, and appreciative affinity environment. Each of the five weekly online classes will be a 1 1/2 hour workshop in which the facilitator, Lisa Culhane, will use themes and priming questions to help you tap into memories and unearth your own life's stories. After each class, you will write a two-page story that you will then share at the next session.

This virtual course is open to all older adult women, nonbinary people, gender non-conforming people, and femmes of all kinds. You do not need to be a writer to participate!

The class facilitator is Lisa Culhane, a certified Guided Autobiography Instructor (GAB), a certified Martha Beck Life Coach, and a writer who helps people step back, reflect, and capture their stories by using a group writing process that is both profound and enjoyable.

This is a series that will take place on March 16, 23, 30 and April 3, 13 from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. MT. This is a virtual course and registration is required here. You will receive the Zoom link after you register. If you have questions, please contact Amy at adelpo@denverlibrary.org.

Funded by the NextFifty Initiative.
