Though her New Wave compatriots were making amazing films, Varda creates films in which each frame is so beautifully composed, it is like viewing a moving postcard. No moment is wasted in this film that captures a tense and life-changing two hours in the life of a young, self-absorbed Parisienne. Film Critic Walter Chaw will take us through Varda’s brilliant vision and discuss all aspects of this masterpiece.
