Celebrate Hispanic Heritage month and make your own rain stick. Rain sticks, indigenous to Northern Chile, were used in ceremonies in requests for rainstorms and are now used as a musical instrument.

Celebra el Mes de la Herencia Hispana y haz un palo de lluvia. Los palos de lluvia, originarios del norte de Chile, se utilizaban en ceremonias para pedir que lloviera y en la actualidad se emplean como instrumento musical.

 

Learn new skills and get creative. We’ll provide open-ended art and science exploration materials. Ideal for ages 9-13.
