Have you ever found yourself drawn to a book because of its captivating cover? You're not alone. Book covers are designed to catch your eye and evoke a sense of curiosity and desire to dive into the story within. Join us for an engaging talk and presentation by the acclaimed book cover designer, John Gall, and discover why the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" might just be a myth when it comes to selecting your next read.

John Gall, an award-winning designer known for his innovative and thought-provoking book covers, will share insights into his creative process and the art of book cover design. With a portfolio that includes iconic covers for authors such as Haruki Murakami, Vladimir Nabokov, and Don DeLillo, John’s work has become a staple in the publishing world.

During the event, John will showcase some of his most notable designs, discuss the importance of visual storytelling, and reveal how a book's cover can influence our perception and choice. This is a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the artistry that goes into making a book stand out on the shelves.
