Join Holly Harmon, Interpretive Specialist with Denver Art Museum, for a virtual exhibition overview of Amoako Boafo: Soul of Black Folks on display through February 18, 2024. Registration is optional and includes an email reminder.

Ghanaian artist Amoako Boafo's unique approach to portraiture captures individuals from Africa and the diaspora in nuanced and evocative paintings. Emerging from direct touch, his work actively centers Black subjectivity, Black joy, and the Black gaze as the foundation of his inspiration and artistic practice.
