Program Description

Event Details

Whether you celebrate the holidays or not, the omnipresence of "cheer" in our culture during November and December can feel oppressive, especially if you are experiencing some form of loss or grief. This four-part interactive support group facilitated by Heartlight Center is designed to help with the grieving process and to give tools for coping with the pressures of the holiday season.

During these four sessions, participants will try hands-on ways to work within their grief and share their story. Together, we will build memorials, compose letters, write in journals, and develop goals with milestones to help with navigating the holiday season and beyond. We will create community and connection to help each other.

This support group is designed for all types of losses. Individuals and family members are welcome, no matter what holidays you celebrate or don't celebrate.

Space is limited. Registration required. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

Meeting dates on Tuesdays from 4:00 to 5:30 -- November 21 and 28 and December 5 and 12.

Facilitated by Allison Gary, LPC.
