Kids Book Celebration - Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month

Let’s celebrate! Each month we’ll hear about new books in the library and do activities inspired by a book, series, or theme. Read one of the books if you want, or just come to have fun. Ideal for ages 5-12. This month we're celebrating Hispanic Heritage. We'll read books about this dynamic culture and make rain sticks. Rain sticks, indigenous to Northern Chile, were used in ceremonies in requests for rainstorms and are now used as a musical instrument.
