Event Details

Virtual Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself -- without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

Today's Theme - ReVisión: Art in the Americas

Description – We will view and discuss a sampling of objects from the museum’s ancient American and Latin American art collections that makes up the ReVisión exhibit coming to the Denver Art Museum this month.  A visually compelling narrative about the formation of the Americas from 100 B.C. to today.  The thematic presentation will explore land, people, and place by linking ancient and contemporary artworks that address political and social issues at the heart of the region’s cultural heritage as well as expand the narrative through voices that include women artists and contemporary voices that speak to the diversity of the Americas.
