Program Description

Event Details

Memory Cafe is a fun place to socialize, relax, and engage with people experiencing memory loss and their families/caregivers. Each cafe has a focus—such as music or art—to facilitate the main goal, which is a social connection for individuals with shared experiences. At the Memory Cafe, you can just be yourself -- without worrying about remembering or forgetting.

Today's Theme - Musical Memories

Description – Join Neurologic Music Therapist Amy Sweetin for a time of singing and reminiscing together. Utilizing music to increase overall brain functioning and encourage emotional awareness, Amy is excited to once again lead Memory Cafe in person. We will discuss and sing about Hispanic Heritage month along with other holidays and events happening in September. See you there!

Masks are not required but highly recommended.
